A few months ago our older cat, Simon (a Maine Coon cat) about 11 years old developed a pronounced limp in his left rear leg, which was tender to our touch. He is such a kind loving pet he would not try to bite us when we investigated the problem but he would flinch and cry out that it was hurting him. A call to Ivana and a session of the immediately provided medication, relieved the problem which I think was arthritis and it has not resumed since. He is his usual very playful self - he is more playful than his tabby housemate who is at least 3 years his junior.
